If you are looking for a completely uninterrupted holiday in a remote location, then this is the cottage to choose. It offered stunning views over the north Devon hills and was an utterly tranquil and a relaxing getaway. The children loved the outdoor play area and we all (including the dog) enjoyed the freedom of the open fields and orchards. We were made to feel very welcome by Elaine and Peter and their dogs!

Cider House at Hill Farm, Burrington is the ideal base for a family holiday, this is our second visit & probably won't be our last. Beautiful cottage, breathtaking scenery & outstanding tranquility. Just like our first visit 3 years ago, none of us wanted to go home and the journey down from Sheffield, although long, is definitely worth it for the end result.
Small features make this a truely wonderful place, the resident dogs (especially Dotty), the peacock, the visiting wildlife - we had a kestral on the fence one morning & I also spotted a couple of bigger birds, not sure what they were, being from Sheffield we don't have many big birds of prey knocking about! We'll definitely be back!

The holiday was all we wished it to be and we would readily recommend this cottage. The surrounding countryside was stunning and with the nearest beach only 30 minutes away, we found it perfect. A good location for grandparents, parents, children and dogs.
